After months of preparation, the highly anticipate 2009 Wuhnurth Music Festival will be returning to the Water Bowl in Muncie, Indiana. The festival will run from Friday, Sept. 11 until Sunday, Sept. 13. The new Wuhnurth website has just also been launched at www.wuhnurth.com
ABOUT WUHNURTH:
Wuhnurth is an environmentally based music festival that's mission is to spread environmental awareness to our guests while promoting talented up-and-coming musicians among the Midwest. This is a gathering of positive minded people who are stepping up to support the Midwest music scene and enhance the beauty of their communities. 100% of the profit raised at Wuhnurth goes to benefiting environmental initiatives in the Muncie community, such as creating community gardens and educating local businesses on environmental practices.
THE LOCATION: The Water Bowl
The Water Bowl is a beautiful 200-acre music venue/campground that features a natural amphitheater, 3 ponds (one with a beach), pavilion with concessions, and giant campgrounds.
STYLES OF MUSIC TO EXPECT: Jam Bands, Bluegrass, Funk, Electronica, Rock, Reggae, Folk, Experimental, Blues, Trance, Jazz Fusion, Trip-Hop, Progressive, and Afro-Beat.
