very very strange place. On the drive there Benoit and I kept getting lost. Being that Benoit was driving he got pretty frustrated. We were playing at this place called "Twisted branch tea bazaar". It was in the middle of a village area where cars could not go so we had to lug our equipment from a block or two away. We happen to arrive in Charlottesville on the towns birthday or something like that. There were guys juggling flaming objects, dogs barking and kids crying. The weirdest part about tour so far has been seeing all of the different town and just how much the people and places vary. Charlottesville was one of the cleanest places I have ever been to. I believe that every person I saw made more money than I ever will in my lifetime. I distinctly remember being greasy and sitting on the sidewalk calling some one and people almost stared at me. strange place.

The twisted branch was amazing though. It was filled with beds, couches, tables and hukkas. There was a small stage with a window behind it that overlooked the town. Definitely one of those places with a good vibe. Everyone who worked there was extremely nice. We were presented with all of the free tea and food that we wanted. I had a delicious wrap and some dragon leaf tea(i think?). It was a saturday night and they don't usually do shows then so it was packed full of people. I didn't play that well but everyone was so nice and supportive it was great. Benoit played the best I have seen him play that night. After the show we went to a little bar down the street with all the people that worked at twisted branch. We had some great conversations and a lot of fun. The best part about the twisted Branch is that they let you actually sleep in the restaraunt on couchy things overnight alone. It was so bizzare sleeping on a couch in this place that was full of customers and people hours before and not even having any employees there. I felt like i was doing something wrong. Like I had mimicked the sticky bandits from Home Alone and stayed in a toy house to rob a toy store. Benoit and I stayed up talking for a while and eventually fell asleep. We made a lot of money that night. It was a first and now known last.
