AURA3 is currently working on their 3rd CD with the working title "Dirty Angels" from a song about deep roots in the red mud of our NC.

The songs we are working on so far and which will go on the CD include:

Dirty Job - a super fabulous song from Mr. James Lee Stanley whose versions of his own compostion we can also reccommend highly. Check him out.

Instant Heaven a bluesy tune Marilyn wrote a year or so ago that we have been working up in shows since then.

(Don't) Let Me Go - another one from Marilyn which is a sort of pop tune and affectionately referred to as "the airport song"

Shady Grove - which is a traditional tune and is coming along in a nice AURA3 version with lots of various instruments including autoharp, mandolin, banjo, guitar and lots of hand percussion - bodhran, etc.

Acoustic remakes of Dodi's "Bad Timing" with Nancy on lead vocal as Marilyn's "Moth to the Flame", are also in the works, both from the first CD.

Dodi is working on an accoustic number yet to be titled that is shaping up nicely and Marilyn has two new tunes - "King of Mars" and "If I Had Known" that might also make it to the CD.

Then there will be a few brand new ones from Dodi that are currently being arranged.

The ladies are planning to go into the studio in January with a February release date - just in time to go out on the road in February!
