The Portsmouth Humane Society will hold a volunteer orientation on Sunday, June 29th at 1:00pm (13:00 for you military folks) at our shelter located at 2704 Frederick Blvd in Portsmouth, VA.
We will discuss volunteer opportunities, the mission of the PHS, take a tour of the shelter, and do some important paperwork related to volunteering. Remember, all volunteers must be at least 15 years old due to insurance issues. Those between 15 and 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times while volunteering.
