In all honesty, when I first heard the title of this song was "Cut Me" by a band called "Kick To Kill," I wasn't expecting a great deal more than a bunch of Goths just playing mindless trash on guitar, pounding senselessly at random drums and screaming a load of incomprehensible rubbish down the microphone.

So imagine my surprise when a drum beat starts up and a guitar starts playing with it to create a rather catchy tune, and then when a keyboard starts up behind them, I took a step back and thought, "Maybe I've underestimated these."

And sure enough, these boys proved me right, the tune itself has a very upbeat theme thanks to the keyboard played over the other instruments, and although it's a rather simplistic tune, it really gets into your head and can have you just bopping along to it all day. Even the lyrics inspire the upbeat sense of the song, "Come on, come on, come on, come on" really grabs the listener and makes you just want to get up and feel the song. However, I should warn you that this can make you want to "come on," but it then just drags you back down to Earth with the lines "Cut me...and watch me bleed."

In all, the band conjures up an absolute gem of a rock song; it's just hidden underneath all of that gothic naming.
