I didn’t make it in time. We’d been meaning to go see the building on 337 South 400 East, given over entirely to artists in the meantime about a year ago, before the building would be demolished to be replaced by condos. This is an example of what happens when there’s apathy about art, only this time it was mine. Not to get out and see it when the structure was alive with art works vibrant and vital, giving little visible suggestion of their temporality.
