I am SO HAPPY that my sister Dawn's book, Rape Of The Soul, has been released!!!  This was the ' Book of her Heart '........HER LEGACY BOOK!!! 
I remember when she started writing it so many years ago, borrowing my portable manual typewriter to begin her work on it. 
EACH and EVERY BOOK that Dawn wrote was SPECIAL to her, but this one was her MASTERPIECE........The one that she wanted so badly to see published, but sadly, passed away before she was able to see that DREAM come true.
Thanks to the dedication and hard work of Leanne Burroughs at Highland Press and Dawn's dear friend and fellow author, DeborahAnne Macgillivray, HER DREAM DID COME TRUE though!!!  That makes me SO VERY HAPPY, because I KNOW HOW MUCH THIS MEANT TO DAWN!!!  She literally dragged herself home from the hospital just long enough to send the file copy for this book to DeborahAnne to protect it for her, and as you will read in the TRIBUTE just inside the book........THIS IS A PROMISE THAT WAS WAY MORE THAN KEPT TO DAWN!!!!!!!!
She was fortunate enough to see and actually HOLD the first proof of the BEAUTIFUL COVER that was done by DeborahAnne, and THAT gave her PEACE, knowing that her DREAM had at last come true!!!!!!!!
Although Dawn is not here to CELEBRATE this long-awaited release with us, I KNOW that she is smiling and that she is VERY HAPPY and SO AM I !!!
Dawn did not just want to release it........She wanted her readers to REALLY ENJOY IT, as much as SHE ENJOYED WRITING IT, and from the WONDERFUL REVIEWS and OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE READER RESPONSE that is being received, THEY CERTAINLY ARE!!!!!!!!
Dawn was a real ' STORYTELLER ' !!!  I will be 61 years old this month and I STILL REMEMBER the stories that she made up for me as a child to keep me amused, and I guarantee you that anyone who reads this book WILL NEVER FORGET IT EITHER!!!  Dawn did not want to be forgotten, and I have been assured by SO MANY, that SHE NEVER WILL BE and THAT IS A GREAT COMFORT!!!
I have ALWAYS had the pleasure of calling Dawn ' MY sister '........NOW, I have the HONOR or sharing her with the world!!!
