Today is my birthday. And it has been a challenging one. I'm glad I decided to have a little party last week, 'cuz I'm sure not up for one now. It's been a non-stop battle today, just to keep civil. THAT is what I get for putting on the cranky-pants this morning, I guess.

But... I did want some stuff. I tried making a list last week - mostly ridiculous stuff - of things that I want. The more I added to it, though, the harder it became to think straight. It's a heady thing for me; putting a name/shape to my desires. Even the ridiculous ones.

Did I mention that I have access to large amounts of [redacted for reasons of national insecurity] like that? Well, it might be true... but my birthday is over now. I guess I'll have to wait.
