Next big thing

· Marmalade is a London underground magazine with a silly name but a cult following among creative types. A content deal with MySpace could presage a move into the mainstream.

· She's got beauty, brains and the ability to read an autocue; stardom beckons for Alexa Chung, talented co-presenter of Channel 4's tongue-in-cheek music show Popworld.

· We don't know who it is yet, but somewhere in the blogosphere a star is about to be born. This will be the year the internet confers celebrity on a do-it-yourself journalist.

In 1979, The Buggles came out with a song called "Video Killed The Radio Star." 28 years down the line and it feels like a 360 degree turn except for the fact that Video is slowly being replaced by the Internet.

We have more people reaching their intended audiences and turning into stars with even the whackiest home video's and home made music such as mine.

I am lovin it and everything that myspace is doing.

Gr8 work guys.

Marmalade is indeed very good, I love being able to read something that isn't not about which celebrity has slept with who or which skinny celeb was caughting eating a cream cake.

At the end of the day who actually cares - it may as well just be Vera from number 22.

Lovin Maralade - get it up!

Everything starts from a simple idea

The woman who styled the nation

Jane Sherpardson, A name that doesn't ring many bells but should, just like what Christopher Bailey did for Burberry this woman did for Topshop. As Bailey gets all the recognition he well and truly deserves this woman doesn't. Nearly if not all women in the UK own a piece, an item woven from her mind.

The woman behind the scenes up until well recently for the items within in the store, for more than 18 years Jane toiled to make the woman of this nation look good. Creating designs sort after and worn by everyone from A-list to C-list celebs.

Her flair goes beyond just designing as she has cooked up some schemes for Topshop. She was the brains behind Topshop express delivery of clothes within three hours of online order time, Topshop to go selected items delivered by a Mercedes and Topshop Fresher week appealing to students to shop and pay in instalments.

Her reign at the top came to an end when she swiftly resigned when Philip Green allocated Kate Moss to design a capsule collection. Whatever the reason and if Jane doesn't decide to design again her fashion forward thinking will live on residing in the women of the country and even furthers wardrobes.
