Hello Friends!

I'm planning on releasing a record later this year called "Human Heart."

In conjunction with the release, I am organizing a grass-roots campaign to promote community outreach, charity and volunteering.

I guess it started with the song "Human Heart," which was written with my friend Ben Cooper. It's basically about the importance of holding on to faith in humanity. In other words, recognizing that all human beings are inherently GOOD. We're all in this together...the poor, the rich, the bold, the meek, the republican, the democrat, the beggar, the lover, the criminal, the judge, the hate-monger, the illegal alien AND the patriot....

Like it or not, we are ALL part of this human mosaic.

We have a responsibility. We owe more to each other than we do to ourselves. And until we realize this fundamental truth and act on correcting our recent collective course, we will continue to wander through life confused and sinking, asking ourselves, "how did this happen?"

So let's wake up. Admit we're part of THE PROBLEM as long as we avoid acting on behalf of A SOLUTION. The point is, there are many solutions. Volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Go to the local homeless shelter in your town and serve a stranger dinner. Identify a need in your community and OFFER YOUR TIME.

And don't just write a check and mail it off...GET INVOLVED and SPEND TIME with PEOPLE IN NEED. They're all around you.

I'm putting up 6 songs that will most likely be on the "HUMAN HEART" record. They are demos at this stage that I recorded at home. I am scheduled to record this thing in the 'big ol studio' this summer. It will most likely come out in the fall.
