I haven't posted a blog in a very long time. It was a few very curvy last weeks. After my tour with the amazing Jonah Matranga, where we became really good friends, had tasty belgian waffles together, slept in the worst hotel room ever and actually played some really decent shows, I needed a while to come back to normal life. Those calm days where followed by a CRAZY weekend in Hamburg, some days of hard work, writing new songs and practicing with a possible new band. Last wednesday I played on a ship in Rostock, where I met a guy called Andy (in beautiful reference to my song "On The Road", perfect), who taught me how to play a game called 'ladder golf'. I must say that this game was lots of fun and I am master in it for sure.
Also: Reading Noel Coward's "Hay Fever", hilarious! Recommending it to everyone who enjoys classics.
Also watched two movies lately, first the new Jim Carrey one starring Zooey Deschanel too ('Yes, Man'), very funny, refreshing after all these Adaptow teen comedies that were just floating through the movie industry, and a very bad horror flick called 'Mirrors', which I do not recommend, because it is very disturbing and predictable. Anyways... That just on the side (cause I want to spread my interest into bad Hollywood movies).  - - -
Soooo, here are a few photos from my trip to the North East:

In two weeks I will fly to California. There will be some cool stuff going on in the first week of May, I'll play together with Jonah in San Francisco AND Los Angeles. So everyone living there or near those two cities, you HAVE to come and say hi! Can't wait to be a tourist once again.

Oh, and I uploaded a remix I did for fun in my room... It's a Nine Inch Nails Remix/Cover thingy, I took some parts of the song "The Good Soldier" and wrote a total new piano line and used that for the song base, in the end just added Trent's original voice from the multitracks that I downloaded on nin.com, and sang some sing sang over it, done. Hope you all enjoy my version of this wonderful song, for the original, I just suggest to you to youtube/googlevideo/blip/lastfm the song somehow, I am sure you will find it (to the ones who aren't familiar with that favorite band of mine).

So yay yeah, I hope you all have a great April, Happy belated Easter everyone, don't trust the naked busdriver and beware of any cults.

Love,
Anna xx

Some greetings from Rostock!!! Your pictures are quiet nice.
Maybe you will return to the Baltic Sea? We will try to catch better weather for you - warmer temperatures and less wind ;-)
