Out of the pantheon of human emotions, the main one that we all have to face is fear/horror eventually. Being born into the world we also must leave, it's the natural cycle of life. Then why is it that we are frightened when we are threatened with death? Fear can be one of the most powerful driving emotions in our existence, think of the search for the fountain of youth and the lazarus machine, both failed attempts at immortality. however, fear in itself is a double-edged blade. without fear then do we have a real reason for living after the thrill of worldly affairs becomes jaded and insignificant? Bioengineering has crafted a cryogenic way to maintain a human corpse and revive it, but the fact that the person undergoing the process still has to face death means it is still a flawed procedure, giving us more ground to discover. is media truly a conduit worthy of effort to portray the essence of horror or is it something that only those with tragically uncovered eyes to discover in tremendous disbelief?
