This Friday night kicks off a busy summer for Luv’n Rockets. We’ve got a ton of shows booked all over Northern California!
We’re excited to be sharing the stage with DARKWAVE, from what we understand they are tailoring their set this Friday to suit the event, Rumor has it they will be performing a lot of Bauhaus tunes. We also can’t wait to see the L’Anonyme Collective dance performance. This is the Death Rock Dive Bar 1st anniversary party at the Stork Club in Oakland, so it’s looking like it’s going to be a great time.
On July 11th Luv’n Rockets will be bringing the excitement to Santa Rosa! The Last Day Saloon is hosting an event which will feature This Charming Band from SF. This THE Smiths/Morrissey tribute. You’d have to be crazy to miss this show. Also featured on that night will be Dead Souls, who put on a ‘dead on’ JOY DIVISION tribute. We’re really hoping to bring all of the North-Bay’s Goth and post-punk/modern rock fans out of the woodwork for this one. The Last Day Saloon is a big venue and if the turn-out is good they’ll let us keep booking our brand of awesome tribute shows there. So let’s ROCK this one!
On August 1st we’re pleased to bring our friends THE CURED up from San Diego! They’ll be sharing the stage with us at The Rockit Room in SF. We LOVE The Cured and the jarringly accurate Cure show they put on. We’ve played shows with them all over California, but this is their first in SF!!! We’re still in the process of putting this one together, looking for the perfect opening act. We’ll keep you updated. (And we’re open to any suggestions you may have)
