Hello. Let me start by apologizing if I haven't responded to any messages/comments. With 98% of our messages and comments being spam, I'm sure I've missed out on some "real" stuff. Myspace has really been annoying the fuck out of me and I've been avoiding it like the plague. Seriously, what is wrong with these bands? "Hey, check out my tracks!" WHO GIVES A SHIT?! What are they thinking? They must know that 10,000,000 other bands are doing this bullshit at the same time, IT IS ANNOYING AS FUCK. IT IS NOT EFFECTIVE. Myspace sucks. We will be launching a brand new web site with the release of Operation Satan next year and hopefully I can get the fuck out of here. But, for now this is all we have, so thanks for sticking around.

ANYWAY...

Dan (NTL), Matt (TJ), and myself have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on the songs for the upcoming album. We're finishing the drums and programming at the moment and then we will be throwing a few samples in. Once again we have some more 80's and 90's pop culture references making their way in to provide you with a trip down memory lane. It's not nearly going to be as sample heavy as Pop Culture Massacre was but come on, it's CODS so there has to be some. I'm very happy with the way these songs are turning out and I'm hoping to give you at least one completed track to hear in the near future.

It looks as if the album will include 11 full length songs as well as 6 short instrumentals. I'm not sure what else I can tell you at the moment. I haven't given much thought to the lyrics yet, I'm focusing on the music first. I am really shooting for a spring 2010 release. It all depends on money unfortunately (to record, mix, master, and duplicate) otherwise I'd have this thing out in the next couple of months.

I want to release a bunch of new merch and like I said before, a new web site along with the release of the album. So, I know things have been slow over here, but it's all in good time my friends. For now I am selling a stage used CODS amp screen on ebay. Check it out, we only have one for sale.

I am still writing this stuff....  I don't want to post any manuscripts or anything yet, because some of my enemies also want to publish their own stories and they've stole some of my ideas already... FCK THAT.

The real reason I haven't posted anything yet, is because the artists that were helping me with those illustrations I mentioned ( I hope you remember) TURNED INTO TOTAL PRICKS. They bailed out on me!!!! [They weren't charging anything anyway, oh well!]

Fuck man, fuck people, fuck them all. I am going to do that art with my own gay ass art even if my art isn't that good. I'm going to bust some ass on art and do the covers & the designs for the introductory pages MYSELF. You know how being fucked over by people who lost dedication is like, and you know what it's like to take on the whole project on your own.

That's what I'm going through right now.  And damn, it's a tough feeling. I feel like a little girl in an alley full of gigantic tentacle penis monsters or something... BUT I WILL SURVIVE RIPCHORD. I'M GOING TO TAKE IT IN LIKE A PRO!!!

I have until August 26th to come up with something presentable to the fckn publisher, who only sees me as a dollar sign, anyway.

Fck this world, we can't let it take us down. We might not be able to change the world immediately, but we can't let it change ourselves.

[When I am 100% done, we can go over the text, and we can cut out things you don't like involving your characters. We can add some more. I don't know, you can improvise. your characters are really damn funny, it's just what a a serious story needed!]

Spiffy. It's nifty knowing that you guys are still at it. Especially now, hearing how far along/how you're working on it. I won't lie, since you guys fell apart, I've been finding it hard to get my hopes up for future releases. But damn it, my hopes have been risen. Sorry about myspace sucking ass. It has a tendency of doing that. Just please make a message here when you launch your site or something. That way I'll know to head there instead of here. Good luck with the album. I definitely can't wait. Also, you ever think of putting up some form of donation thing? I'm sure some folks might float you a wee bit of cash if you're not cocks about asking for it. *cough*stich*cough* Obviously you got the ebay thing, but donations never hurt.

If all you do is make the donation possible, people will either donate or not.  So long as you don't overly pressure people into it, it's not a shallow prickish thing to do.  I mentioned stitch, since he was all "buy my shit, I'm poor and need money."   Not "Hey, we're underground and could really use some help.  Spare some cash if you got it."

Lord knows I'd donate some money, though probably not a lot since I'm broke myself, money is money.
