No Offense
I love watching battle of the bands to hear what new groups have to offer. However i was really shocked you guys won. Your music sounds like wanna be XC rock mixed with beer drinking. I don't know how to describe it besides that, also it sounds like something from the 90's...not very original.

I guess im just bashing on you guys cause i feel like the battle of the bands was almost rigged. Alot of people were shocked. You your selves even have to admit that there were some bands with high level fanbase's that everyone knew should have won, and didnt.



Justin's response:

First off, with all due respect for the other groups that played be for us, it takes a lot of time and energy to create any kind of music that is original and presentable. Even more so something that people like and can relate with. Our music obviously does not reach you. That is because you are part of a group of young people that have been bombarded by crap music for the past twenty+ years. Don’t get us wrong here there have been numerous great talents since then and there will continue to be but generally speaking its all been done. Seeing that you have “recently gotten into New wave/electronic/80's kinda music,” the worst shit ever made, only further concretes this point here.

The only thing that we’re shocked about is how kids like you have no understanding or respect for the heritage of the great city you live in? You like 80’s music but flip us shit about sounding similar to stuff from the 90’s? Is it really that bad to sound something like Alice and Chains, Mudhoney, or Soundgarden… seriously? We’ll give you props for your myspace song selection of Dre and the Kooks but Paola? Really? The only thing that you’re correct about is that we drink a lot of beer. “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” – Benjamin Franklin.

The only thing that we’ll admit is that showing up with fans from Orcas is like going into battle with Spartans. And if you think the gig was rigged then that’s some thing that I guess you’ll just have to take up with the judges. On a journalistic note if you want to bash on some one don’t be such a little pussy about it. Don’t start with “No Offense” and say it was “rigged,” cuz that’s just a weak ass cop-out. If HST was still alive he’d bash your head in with an ancient Malory war club and put cigarettes out in the hole were your neck used to be.

So now that you have something to cry about why don’t you go slit your wrists with the shattered pieces of your broken heart because your band didn’t win!
