Guillemots back at Barbican..but just quickly  Guillemots are taking a small break from writing LP 3. For there first live outing in a while. The British Council who represent British culture abroad. Have ask the band to perform as part of there 75th birthday celebrations on Oct 26th. They will be playing a short set in conjunction with the fantastic Penguin Cafe Orchestra as a night of collaborations being headlined by Matthew Herbert Big Band, at the Barbican. How does a gig in London represent British culture abroad? I think you should represent it by playing a gig in Holland, up in the north to be exact. Yes, that seems like the best thing you could possibly do. You'll love it here! And you've got to have seen the museum in Groningen, if you haven't already. The architecture is spectacular. Anyhow, I will stop lecturing now before I get offered a teaching position. Love,
