Willowstone Arts & Music Festival – 27th June 2009 – Delamont Country Park.
The inaugural Willowstone Arts & Music Festival is a completely new and innovative event, which will take place on the 27th June 2009 in Delamont Country Park in conjunction with the ten year anniversary of the Strangford Stone.
The Festival will be a one-day live music event, with camping in the grounds of the country park. The unique setting of The Delamont Walled Garden will be the main stage and entertainment area, and will feature art installations which double as interactive and immersive games designed by London based Artist Francis Barking and alternative funfair rides designed by Belfast Artist Paddy Bloomer. Workshops will be available in game design, basket making and more. Additional entertainment will come from street and circus performers during the day and fire poi dancers in the evening. High quality locally brewed beers will be on offer in the Tepee Beer Tent run by the Hilden Brewing Company who are also sponsoring the event.
The live music will offer a mix of popular genres featuring two acts of national renown from Ireland and the UK. Additional unsigned artists from Northern Ireland will perform throughout the day including Ed Zealous, Panama Kings, NI Soul Troop, Heliopause, Albrecht's Pencil, Little Green Cars and more to be announced.
Tickets are priced at £26 for the day and £32 for the day & Camping.
