Current mood:  weird
Honestly, sometimes I just really suck at it. I get so busy between work, performing, promotions, booking, and of course daily life...it's like I don't have time to really blog much anymore.
To family/friends/fans, I'm sorry if I've let you down about not blogging nearly as often as I should. Starting today, I'm going to work harder on getting more updates out.
So....to kinda explain where I've been..I'll tackle the shows from last month. Performing the halftime show for the Oklahoma Victory Dolls was awesome. It was the largest...um...stage (hehehe) we had ever performed on, but we did very well and had lots of fun. Our show was well received and I'm plotting for new ideas for the next time I/we perform at a roller derby bout.
Performing at the Church. This show was definitely interesting. The crowd went wild, we were on fire, and I got kissed by a hardcore fan while I was in between the beds of nails. I have to say..that was definitely new for me. No! Not the bed of nails. :) I guess my boobs have the power of seduction, tee hee.
And finally but surely not lastly.....the show at Chances. This show was wicked awesome. Twiztid's/Della's/our fans rocked the house, and I think we all did a fantastic job of corrupting the regulars at that bar. Fun was had, money was made, and new friendships were cemented. I/we can't wait till we hang out with and perform with our new family.
Outside of shows, I've been working on other side projects. The main project I've been pouring lots of energy in has been street performing. Before I moved out to OKC, I hadn't street performed in years. Now I've been happily street performing for the past 2 months (every Friday/Saturday/Sunday) faithfully when I'm not booked elsewhere and of course weather permitting. You can catch me in Bricktown putting on a family friendly (for the most part..which is really my show without doing any boob stuff) show with my crazy antics and weird comedic flair. My favorite memory of street performing so far has been getting stapled by a 14 month old with his mommy.
To close out this blog, the COC has another show coming up on August 14th in Kansas City. We're guest performing with Eye Candy Burlesque at the KCSOB performance. The show will be at Korruption (1717 West 9th St, Kansas City, MO, 64101). 21+ only! $10 at the door, $8 in advance. Tickets for sale online here : http://www.kcsob.com/presale.html .
