ONE SPECTACULAR NIGHT ONLY: Our favorite bands dog sled down to Chicago to join us at the glorious Beat Kitchen. Everyone performing (except our moustached drummer) is from the Great Lakes state.
Q: What happens when you combine the explosive techno synth magic of Kraftwerk with the ingenious pop sensibility of Daryl Hall and John Oates, then add skin tight pants, over sized cardboard instruments, and an ecstasy laced light show? A: The musical stylings of Moses Jackson & Val Hundreds, otherwise known as THE CHAMPIONS OF BREAKFAST
And if that wasn't reason enough...
Indie pop minimalists, LIGHTNING LOVE, will slay your heart with irresistible melodies and candid stories of heartbreak, drunkenness and the odyssey years. The trio produces a rich blend of piano/synth with tasteful guitar licks and bare bones percussion. Stir in lush harmonies and this group requires no bass to fill your pop cravings.
We'll also be debuting new songs and new sounds (I have a special surprise instrument I'm bringing out). I really hope you'll come out. I can't think of a cooler venue or lineup of bands I'd wanna perform with. Reserve your ticket in advance by clicking the link below. Here's the details...
Friday, January 9 @ Beat Kitchen (2100 W. Belmont, Chicago)
