Minutes ago I realized that it is 1 year since starting the Gatewhey myspace site on May 20, 2008. Yes it started strong with videos, new music etc. The emails and excitement really took a lot of time, answering emails, writing poems, blogs etc.  Then life took its course and I focused on a new art collection etc. Spent 6 months in LA and southern California. I arrived back to Europe for Christmas and I am still here, but this time doing music with Govinda, the Sitar player.

So to wrap up this 1 year blog, I am currently focusing on Shaman Strings (for now this is myself and a sitar player).  There is some excitement there: new music, a few new videos, answering emails… Yes we all know about the Myspace energy (at least during certain days, weeks and months).

With some 8 million myspace music pages out there, a few live performances should test the power of our new music. It is a bit different, yet spiritually focused.

Gatewhey, thank you for your year. It actually seems decades ago, but it is only a year. Wow, great friends.
