Queensryche sends its condolences and prayers to Amy and Dave, better known to those in and around the fan club and fan club message boards as Rage and London. Dave (London) passed away last week on the 13th. His passing was sudden and a shock to those on the fan club boards. London was a positive and upbeat person who was liked by all. He will be missed greatly. Rychers around the world plan to hoist a toast to London tonight at 9:00 PM Eastern. So either tip your favorite beverage to him or just send some energy to his family and/or share your memories of London here.

In memory of Dave, aka: London:

To Rage and London, and all Rychers, remember what John Donne wrote all those years ago:

No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.

If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manner of thine own
Or of thine friend's were.

Each man's death diminishes me,
For I am involved in mankind.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.

Peace to you and your family.  We remember you in this difficult time.

The threads I liked most on the boards were ones where you could get in conversation with LONDON. His intelligence, level-headedness, and wit made them all worthwhile. Even in serious topics, when things would get too intense, you could always count on LONDON to make a humorous post at the right time to break the tension. The boards will never be the same. I also appreciated our PM's and will miss him greatly.

Rage, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May the warmth of the memories help ease the pain.

Thank you to Queensryche for giving us this forum to come together in Dave's honor.

London and I (MojoRisin) had some good times on the Queensryche forums over the years. I think we covered every topic at one point or another. He was right in the middle of all the big discussions and had so much wisdom to share. London really knew his stuff and could hold his own on any topic with anyone. I even had to change my point of view a couple of times as a result of his replies, that's a near impossible task but it speaks volumes.....The guy was special to the boards and I'm even shedding a tear as I write this today. He was an online friend for many, many years and had the rare ability to be the voice of reason and just turn any topic on its ear.

London was on the message boards for as long as anyone I know in the QR community. He loved the band and was a true super fan. I first met him about 15 years ago in one of he many different versions of the QR boards. I also had the pleasure to meet him briefly at one of the QR fan club events in Seattle....You can’t talk to someone for that many years and not form some kind of friendship, be it real or virtual. I never expected someone on a message board to affect me with their passing either; my heart goes out to Rage and his family. It's so easy for me to hide behind my glass and say what I want, not really caring so much about whom I hurt or how I come off. I think if I learn anything from London it's the easy way he could make friends and still say what he wanted, without stepping on someone feelings and making them feel bad. The guy really cared about what he said.....

Like someone said in another thread....It would be easier to replace a band member than to replace London. The Queensryche fans have lost something that can't be replaced and I type this today in tribute and respect to Queensryche.com's greatest message board member ever........LONDON

RIP bro

I am sending Amy(Rage) the biggest hug possible from Ohio.

Dave(London) will be missed by so many of us on the QR board.
I can only imagine how many miss him in his life outside the boards.
He touched so many lives with his great sense of humor, wit,
intelligence and a voice of reason we all strive to have.

R.I.P. Dave...Keeping rocking up in Heaven until we meet again.
