It's been an ace and crazy first few weeks for Chips at The Deaf Institute, thanks to everyone who showed up to keep the scene alive! Those who came witnessed Ebony Bones tear the room up, Kid Acne blow the room up, Methodist Centre clear the room up, Heartbreak emotion the room up and Kings Have Long Arms simple eccentronicrock the room!

Hey! That's just the start! Over the next few weeks we have some amazing live music that you won't see anywhere else in Manchester until all the other clubs book them after us! Starting on April 26th with the jaw droppingly ace NAIVE NEW BEATERS all the way from the gayest city in the world, Paris! Mysterious Sheffield disco band LORDS OF FLATBUSH head over the Pennines on May 10th featuring members of The Human League, ex members of Arctic Monkeys and Basement Jaxx collaborators! Then on May 17th THEY CAME FROM THE STARS I SAW THEM bring psychedelic disco, rock and pop to the Chips stage for some psychedelic electronic madness!

...and that is not all! June 14th see's the return of The Beta Band's Steve Mason in his new guise THE BLACK AFFAIR! Dark, deliscious, deviant and sexy electronic music! Then on June 21st Chips brings you a whole night of solid rock as we are proud to announce the arrival of AWESOME COLOR! Signed to  Thurston 'Sonic Youth' Moore's excellent label Ecstatic Peace. These dudes are 100% RAW Stooges derived shredding!

In between we will be DJing all the other dates with a big mix of POP, DISCO, ROCK, ELECTRONIC, SPANDEX FUNK, MENERGY, RAP, PARTY!
