Hey gang...
Well, as of Friday I'm back working at Borders (but now at the new Noblesville location). Finishing up my Beginning Acting class at Civic. I'm directing a show entitled "The Jealous Sky" by Paul Bancel at Indy Fringe this year (late Aug), as well as playing a nazi in "The Sound of Music" at Beef & Boards (Oct - Nov).
Adam has moved in with us for a while, so that's been interesting. Jason's stress level between work and having a dog in the house is reaching maximum torque. Needless to say, it's been quite the month. But with the shows coming up and me having an income again, we should get back on track here within a month or two.
Pride was fun this year. I went to the parade, which was nearly an hour long! Then headed over and worked at the Phoenix booth for a bit before just wandering around hanging out with friends and enjoying the sun and the day.
That's really it for now. My game plan is to work at Borders until I can take my cosmetology exam (written) and get my license renewed, the go back to doing hair. I figure the theatre dream has pretty much been slotted over to the "for fun" category of my life, so now it's time to grow up and get a new career path (yeah, at 45) so I can get out of debt and start enjoying my life.
So, there you have it.
Peace.
