Greetings my marvelous blog readers!

I assure you that I have a most worthy explanation as to why I have neglected to feed you information in this last month.  You see shortly after my last blog entry my darling husband Damien Sylvia and her father Peter and I went for a splendid hike through the woods.  Of course Peace No More War and her new friend a piglet named Charlemagne came with us.  We were having such a marvelous time that we failed to notice when the sun sank below the horizon.
It wasn't until little Sylvia drew our attention to the beauty of the stars that we realized how dark it had become.  We could hardly make out the child's lovely drawing in the dirt.  She has such a gift!

We wondered around for a few days.  Then suddenly I heard a woman's voice calling "Bitesterdude!  Bitesterdude come back here!"  I did not know the voice but there was something so familiar about this whole scenario.  Then it happened again.  I was wondering around and suddenly I heard a stranger's voice calling to someone named Bitesterdude.  What an unusual yet lovely name! I thought to myself.

Then all of a sudden there she was before me!  Yes it was my dear darling most astoundingly beautiful friend Pinky!  Though we had never before laid eyes on each other we recognized one another at once and threw ourselves into each other's arms.  I explained our situation to her and she was most sympathetic.  Oh but the poor dear!  Her precious snake had run away again and she had been in the woods searching for him for days!

It took us a few more days to find sweet little Bitesterdude but alas Peter saw him and picked him up.  "Oh thank you!" Pinky cried kissing the darling man on the cheek.  "My hero!"  Peter was so surprised that he dropped the snake and the poor scared little creature slithered away again.  You see I fear our Peter is quite taken with beautiful Pinky.  But no matter we had the snake back in our possession and were heading happily toward Pinky's home as she snuggled her beloved copperhead in a matter of days.

Oh but it was such a tragic state of things that we found Pinky's home in.  By the time we reached her house her dear brother Bluey had transformed the entire homestead into a replica of the U.S.S. Enterprise.  He very nearly wouldn't even allow us to enter the house because he insisted that we were in outer space and only aliens could so easily maneuver in a gravity free zone.  Only after little Sylvia helped sneak Bitesterdude to his bed and Peter convinced Bluey that he was a member of the special forces who had been chosen to test out some new gravity-defying technology did he allow us to enter.

Bluey is really quite a nice gentleman when Bitesterdude is not around.  Poor man!  Can you imagine being so frightened by such a charming snake as Bitesterdude?  Perhaps if Damien and I can teach him to play hopscotch things will begin to look up.

Well I must be going.  I promised Pinky I would teach her some of my family recipes.  Then there is so much more work yet to be done to bring her house back to its former state.

May the force be with you.

P.S.  Pinky is inviting Ren over for a barbecue as soon as the house is back in order again.  I can't wait to see Andy!
