Band Simply Shrugs When Asked Why It Took So Damn Long
THE MENTIONABLES, through their spokesperson and unofficial manager Stosh McGee, announced Tuesday, June 12, 2007 that their long awaited, eagerly anticipated, yet much drawn-out-to-the-point-of-tedium follow-up to 2002's debut Big Bug is finally available via CD Baby. The new CD entitled "Talk Of The House" will also be available through many more media outlets in the weeks to come. "Keep your shirts on. It takes a while to get all that stuff ready on the world wide internet" said a band member who asked not to be identified. The new album contains 111 brand new songs. Sorry that's 11 new songs and NOT 111 as previously reported. The band apologizes for any confusion. "How the heck could we sell it for so little if it had 111 songs dumbass?" said yet another band member asking not to be identified. As a refresher, The Mentionables are a Power Pop, Garage Rock-type, 60's influenced, harmony-based band best described as "Modern Britpop from Jersey." "This is the best description I could come up with for now. Is that OK buster?" added a band member who asked to be identified only as Doug. He quickly added, "Tell everyone each sale is marked by Soundscan and that sounds pretty darn important." The band sincerely thanks you for your support and hopes you rock happily ever after.
### Debut CD, The Mentionables: Big Bug also available via CD baby, itunes and many more outlets. Nice.
