The McKassons with Ken O'Malley in Concert
The
McKassons are back!!! After a small hiatus we are returning for a very
special concert at The Mandolin Café in Tacoma. We will be the headline
band at the Annual Celtic Concert Series at the Ford Amphitheater in
Hollywood, California this fall with Irish singer Ken O'Malley (www.kenomalley.com).
We are trying to make it a true collaboration. But, before we go
south..we are bringing the concert to Tacoma for you! Ken O'Malley has
sung his heart out for over 30 years, toured the continent so many
times he's lost count, worked in film and theatre, and shared the stage
with Mary Black, Johnny Cunningham and the Chieftains, to name a few.
We met him at the FAR-West Conference in Phoenix, Arizona and fell in
love with his passion for the music. When we were asked to share the
stage with him in Hollywood we didn't hesitate to except. We hope
you'll come to hear this cross-generational sound scape of Celtic music.
