Heyas!
Sami (Saarinen from Status Minor) came over this afternoon and we talked a bit about band stuff, wrote some shit and ate some damn good cookings of mine. (Yes, I'm modest to the extreme.) And then we decided to jam a bit to cheer up the afternoon. I uploaded the stuff that we played in case you're interested in what's happening when I'm on a sick-leave from work. :)
Preparation: Light up 2 candles and tune the guitar. Put my beyerdynamic microphone in front of Roland's Microcube and check out the levels. Done!
Mononucleotic Jam 1: "Let's just play something to basic e-blues thingy... damn that something took 8 minutes!"
Mononucleotic Jam 2: "Not again from e! Right, let's pick d then and maybe try to do something that doesn't sound like a ballad that much..."
Mononucleotic Jam 3: "Nah, again really soft! Why don't we go dm7 - c#m7 - cm7 - c#m7 this time and give it some more boogie? Yeah! 1-2-3-go!"
All in all the afternoon was an entertaining one. For you, the rock police: midi stuff is for gays and for real studio sessions; and so is fixing audio in protools. When there's a mistake in jamming, it should be audible. And here for sure you have quite a few! Enjoy! :)
