Little Rock knows how to fucking party. After a week and a half in Mississippi hanging with family and some sweet ass friends (FACT!), we got back to Arkansas to kick off our weekend with Damn Bullets and the Conway crew. Thursday night's show was capped off with a SWEET suite at Embassy Suites, where we drank vino 'til the wee hours and woke up with endless omlettes for breakfast.
Drove up to Little Rock where we picked up the kegs. Long story short, music was supposed to be over by 10pm and ended up stopping around midnight - very near the time the kegs floated. The morning after involved the vague recollections of how the sleeping arrangements had shifted, and the acknowledgment of somebody's ass being used as a pillow.
Turns out
Baggois based in in Arkansas, and UCA was hosting a Baggo tournament with a $1000 cash prize. Sal and Chris had been practicing, and the herd of us wandered over with a cooler full of PBR. Four ass-whippings later, we all walked back with a cooler full of empties and no prizes. That was reason enough to keep drinking for the afternoon until we migrated down to Little Rock for the show.
Whitewater Tavern kicks balls. Damn Bullets fucking raged it. To our delight, we had a delicious contingent of people singing along for the night. As if the Baggo tournament hadn't been enough party-tition for us, Little Rock also has one of the largest kickball leagues in the nation. 102 teams played from noon 'til 8pm yesterday, and it happens every sunday. Several teams had beer bongs on 1st base, several people were dressed in superhero outfits (mexican wrestling masks), lingerie (shitty kickballers, but a hell of a time to watch), and all sorts of things they shouldn't have been wearing.
Our Little Rock experience ended with a hypnotist comedy show. I mean, this shit was the kind of ridiculous you never experience in a single weekend.
On that note, it's time to get the fuck out! We planned to leave Conway about 2 hours ago, but we keep coming up on cool shows on the History Channel that suck us in for just one more hour.
Back to Fayetteville tonight! Eureka Springs tomorrow, KCMO from there, Manhattan, Hays, Denver, Denver again, and California here we come!
Toss some PBR in the fridge. We'll be there in a few.
