Hello, loyal Lemonheads!
Exciting news for everyone: our first CD, titled "Nobody to Thank," has shipped and will reach us (and by us I mean Dave) this Thursday, January 9th! It has eleven tracks, and the artwork was designed by yours truly.
The CD is published under Core Reality Productions, a brand new production company started by our very own Dave Shults. Thanks to Oasis CD, the CD printing company, for the speedy delivery and affordable mastering!
It's been quite a long road, but we're believers in very few takes. In fact, most of our songs were recorded with just one or two tries, with as few overdubs as possible and only out of necessity (for example, one track which uses piano needed the vocals done separately, and at times our drummer, Phil, was unavailable for recording). It's bare, it's somewhat rough, and we hope you think it's good for listening.
The CDs will be selling for $15. This will seriously help offset the cost of production (Dave had to cover it by himself, so he will get all the profits until we break even). Soon we'll be making shirts and we're imagining beanies in the future.
If you want to request a CD please message us to let us know. We'll work out payment and shipping (when necessary) through our Myspace page and during live shows!
