Zip
codes are such funny things. We go through our daily lives more or
less never thinking about them. We forget that certain zip codes (such
as, oh, say, 90210) are so well known that they actually have entire TV
Shows named after them. These TV shows tend to be pretty awesome. And
every once in a while, they put one of our songs (such as, oh, say,
"Hearts
Collide") on their soundtrack. And then we freak out and cry from
happiness and vlog about it.

!!! I keep pinching myself... this is so incredibly surreal. I've
printed up the wikipedia page for the soundtrack and spent all
yesterday drawing hearts and smiley faces all over it (the page is now
hanging in my locker next to my Nirvana poster). I have been trying to
wrap my mind around the fact that Entertainment Weekly's website has my
name in a blog. This soundtrack is by far the hugest thing I've ever
been a part of, and I am so incredibly honored. Being associated with
some of the other artists on the soundtrack is like a dream... N*E*R*D,
Santigold, the Raconteurs, Parachute... the day I heard was like every
birthday I've ever had combined into one unsurpassably amazing day.
Cause there are very few presents in this world that I would
appreciate more.
And
when people give you gifts, thank you's are always in order. So to CBS
Records, the CW, Larry Jenkins, Rebecca Sinclair and everyone else who works on 90210:
thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Thank you thank you thank you.
This means more than I can put into words.
Love you all,
Sarah
