Virtue Biography


Virtue is an aspiring hip hop artist hailing from Salt Lake City, UT. As a child he grew up listening to his favorite music groups and artists hoping that one day, he too could write and perform songs that would be worthy of album sales and radio play. Virtue, also known as Skynny G, has been working non-stop for the past 12 years to learn and experience what it takes to be the music professional he is today.

Virtue has been blazing trails all over Utah, performing with other artists such as, Tech N9NE, Public Enemy, Jedi Mind Tricks, Grayskul, Sean Price, Kaotic, Sick Lake, Mak Demon, and many others. Some of the venues he has performed at include, The Great Saltair, Club Suede, Multicultural tent at 2002 Winter Olympics, Urban Lounge, South Shore Sports Bar & Grill, The Hotel, Liquid Joes, Mo's Neighborhood Grill, Mixed Emotions, and many others.

At this time Virtue is self managed while he grows and learns the ins and outs of the music industry. He also manages his own marketing and promotions, getting out with his street team constantly, sporting Virtue apparel and passing out thousands of flyers weekly throughout the state, promoting his name and events as well as other artists.

Currently, Virtue is recording his first major production and LP titled, "Lake Of Fire". Some of the songs he performs are featured on this album. "Lake Of Fire is scheduled for release in early March of 2008. From the feedback we have been receiving, this could very well be the most anticipated local Utah album ever.
