hey there!
been a while since i posted a blog and since today marks the last day of term for me i had some free time!
yep... we've got a new guitarist. His name is Thompson but alot of you probably already know him; he's been in a few bands with Bob before but more recently he's been busy in A Day Called Desire, This is Greed and been busy with his promotions company. So we're pretty chuffed that he agreed to join!
We've been back on the gig circuit recently too and we've played some absolutely awesome shows, which have also had their fair share of awesome people to go with it. We played Le Pub in Newport where during sound check Howard's amp decided to die. Luckily the lovely lovely people of Little Deaths (www.myspace.com/lildeathsnewport) and Ice Cold in Alex (cant find a myspace!) lent us some gear and the show went on. I then met THE weirdest man after the show... he definately goes down in history. But there were some BEAutiful people in Newport, we all appreciated that.
Last night in worcester was pretty cool. Played with Riding Giants and The Great Eskimo Hoax but the highlight of the evening was the fact that as we were packing up this guy i'd never seen before came up to me handed me a piece of paper and walked off. I look down at it and this guy has drawn us all and it's fucking mint! Thompson took some pictures of it last night and we're gonna post them up asap. It made my day!
On the way in the van we were rockin the first mix of a new song and it sound so good! Howard and Ad are really doing us proud on the mixing front! Can't wait for everyone to hear these tunes!

On a completely different note, my best friend in the world, Charly Hogan, is in a band again! She was in Somewhere Imbetween back in the day with the Wu Doom Drew (ha!) and now she's in Start Again. She screams her tiny little ass off and she sound amazing so pleeeeeease all come down to the Crown and Anchor in St. Johns worcester to see them play on the 25th april. It's a saturday night, i'm coming straight from work in bham to heckle her! It's a fund raiser for charity too so... yeah. I'll be 21 by then... :( Noooooooooo!
