As you'll see in both our profile photo and our myspace player, we've dug up the past and uncovered our first EP that was written and recorded in the winter of '02/'03 in my cousin andbandmate Mike Ortega's apartment in downtown Manhattan. The first few songs in the player were what came out of those sessions with me, Mike and Brian, and an MPC drum machine. We didn't have a name then and were experimenting with sounds that, at the time, weren't heard in the current alternative/indie rock music movement (which was flooded with Strokes wannabes). With the music climate what it is today with bands like The XX making a big splash, I feel this EP fits in now more than it did back then. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did creating it.
