HEY YOU! Happy New Year!!!

I know I've been a bad blogger!!!! Maybe that should be my new year's resolution -- I've been looking for one!!!! Don't hold your breath though... ;)

First of all, big news for me... I just got signed to a publishing deal!!!!! This is a songwriting deal where I will have even MORE opportunities to write songs for film, television, and other artists! This is a HUGE dream of mine, and actually the ORIGINAL dream, before I took this somewhat accidental but incredible detour called Jag Star. :) I will pretty much be writing music full time for the next few months, but we'll still be playing shows so keep checking our tour dates! (I know we're scheduled to come to VA, KY, and GA in the next couple of months.. but more will be added soon!) This doesn't change anything for Jag Star by the way-- I'm also working on writing our next RECORD! Woo Hoooo!!!!

Also, as some of you already know, we made the big move to Nashville!!! I know, cliche... musicians moving to Nashville... but I have to say, this has been one of the best decisions of my life and we are very happy here. We will always be a "Knoxville band", but we knew it was time for a change, and we've fallen in love with this city over the past couple of years as we have been traveling here for "band business". But no worries, I won't be wearing a cowboy hat or boots at our next show. Well, maybe boots!!!!!

I also just wanted to say thanks to everybody requesting "Disguise" to be added to our music player. Could this be b/c of it being featured on the recent MTV trailer? It's up now so enjoy!!! (This song is from our latest album and you can DOWNLOAD it on our iTunes page ...had to throw that in there.) :)
