First off I would just like to thank everyone who has been supporting us; fans, family and friends. We thank you for the support you have been showing us. We have kind of been MIA from myspace lately and we are sorry for that. An unfortunate event took place about a week ago and we have all kind of have been taking it in. On Saturday May 16th 2009 at approx. 8AM our drummer, our brother Justin Vidal was hit by a car while he was biking home from a friends house. A Surburban going approx 50 MPH hit Justin but luckily instict took place and he tucked in while landing. Justin is alive and well but it looks like he will not be able to play our June 4th CD Release show at The Whiskey. He broke his Collar-Bone in two different places and there is a peice of bone just floating around in there. We are all super bummed and can't wait til he gets back on the Walk The Rio drum set. BUT THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!! Justin is in high spirits and he does not want to let his injury slow down Walk The Rio!! Our good friend Erin is going to be filling in on drums for the time being and we are getting ready for our JUNE 4th CD RELEASE SHOW at THE WHISKEY!! We have already been rehearsing with Erin and Justin has been to all our rehearsals to help out with Erin learning drums for Walk The Rio.
