The Out of the Darkness Community
Walk is a 3 – 5 mile scenic walk that typically takes place between the months
of September and December. Thousands of people throughout the country will walk to
raise awareness and funds for AFSP's vital research and education programs to
prevent suicide and save lives, increase national awareness about depression and
suicide, and assist survivors of suicide loss.
There is no registration fee and no
minimum amount that a walker needs to raise to
participate!
Every walker who raises $150 or more will receive a
t-shirt the day of the walk!
A portion of the funds raised will go
back into your community to help bring suicide prevention programs and
assistance for survivors of suicide loss.
