Pear was a strange person and anyone that knew him knew this, but with that said he did alot for me and the people I used to skate with back in the early 90's in Salinas. He was the one that got me on Bill's and looked out for me, too bad he did not take his own advise. (That makes me mad!) Sometimes he would come off as a dick and Mister know it all but he did have a big heart and would show it to you when now one else was around. Which alot of you knew and you know who you are! I often would sit with Pear and listen to his theories on subjects and I truly believed that he believed in them. I truly believe he was a head of his time and was  born in the wrong century. He was too smart for some people and so he came off weird. And even in his death I feel his too cool style and one be lucky to celebrate his life. :)
