Are you a singer or guitar player and want to start performing your own songs?

Do you just have something inside you that you need to express in music?

My name is Jeff. I have 13 years experience writing and performing original music all over the Western US. My songs have reached national radio audiences and appeared in feature films.  More importantly, my experience as a storyteller can help you learn how to tell your story in music.  I'm teaching a songwriting class; students will write one new song per month and perform it for their peers. We'll even put up a showcase at a local rock venue to get you on your way to performing.

Concepts covered will include:

• Pop/Rock Song structure
• How to write a hook
• Writing Lyrics
• Arrangement

Are you a bedroom guitar player/bass player/drummer/singer and you've always wanted to be in a band?

Are you forming a rock band and want to hone your skills?

Do you just want to have some FUN?

My name is Jeff. I have 13 years experience writing and performing original music all over the Western US with my band, 7k. My songs have reached national radio audiences and appeared in feature films. More importantly, my experience as a teacher & band leader can help you learn how to live your dream of playing in a rock band!  Students in this class will form a Rock Band and learn cover songs. When we're ready, we'll put up a showcase at a local venue and test our Rock Star Power on a real stage!

• Pop/Rock Song structure
• Ensemble playing
• Finding the groove
• Performance Technique & Showmanship
