The Lord gave me the idea for the Foundation Program a little over 3 years ago.
This is an excellent program to get you in the habit of reading your Bible and Praying.
It takes about 15 minutes a day to do . It basically consists of reading one chapter a day
and praying for 10 minutes a day.
You can pray 5 minutes for your family and needs , then the other 5 minutes you can just listen for God to speak to you.
After each chapter you mark it off for that day and do the same on the Prayer. This has been a very successful program.
People in my Church are doing it. People in our Overcomers Group. People at the Jail and currently there are people doing it in 2 prisons.
After 30 days you are given a certificate of accomplishment. And this is excellent in 3 ways.
1. You can see your progress.
2.The certificate is a testimony for family and friends on what God would have us to do.
3. You have the benefit of the blessings that God gives for reading His Word and Praying everyday.
It was always God's intention for us to read His Word and Pray on a daily basis. Jesus even mentioned that man should
not live on bread alone , but by every Word that comes from God. (Matt.4:4)
We would be heartbroken if our children never talked to us. And I wonder sometimes how God feels when we don't
read his Word and talk to Him on a daily basis.
The program starts off in John. And God even show us in the Bible how powerful His Word is. In John1:1 the Bible says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
God also says in another place in the Bible "Heaven and earth shall pass away , but his Word will not.
( Matt.24:35)
There is great power in His Word.
And His Word will give us strength on a daily basis for us to grow.
We had many, many people tell us that just this simple program has changed their lives.
I would encourage everyone just to try it for one month and see if you don't get great blessings.
Just by reading His Word and Praying each day and giving God those 15 minutes everyday out of your busy schedule.

The key to this program is to be in God's word and prayer every day for
strength and Guidance. God's word will give each Christian Knowledge and Power
to battle everyday troubles.

Daily Prayer
Spend 10 minutes a day in Prayer. Pray for your needs. For others.
Talk to God, then Listen for God to talk to you. God wants to hear from you on a daily basis.
Let this time be a special time between you and God.
Jesus spent much time in Prayer and we should follow his example.
