Current mood:  busy

Ok, I know it's been FOREVER since I've posted, but I have a life, OK?  Maybe not, but anyways.  What have I been up to??  Let's go back a ways.  I spent Christmas in Maine, which was Fabulous!  Except, we didn't get much snow while I was there, but that's ok.  It was just sooo good to be with my family, and I definitely didn't want to leave.  But here I am, back in Tacoma.  We just finished our last week of classes for the Winter Quarter.  This quarter I took Hebrews, Teaching Reading, Adv. Greek II, Intro to Early Childhood Education, Angelology, Anthropology, and Greek Exegesis.  I have finals next week, which I should be working on right now, but I'm not.  Hmmm, remind anyone of my last entry, titled "Procrastination"???  I've just signed up for next quarter, which doesn't start for another 4 weeks.  I'm taking Homiletics, Acts, English, Adv. Greek III, and Integrating the Arts into Teaching.  It'll be a full, but fun quarter.  I'm looking forward especially to the Homiletics class and English.

I still have so much work to do on the yearbook, which I've been really neglecting.  I'm dedicating the next 4 weeks to it, or at least the evenings.  I just haven't had any time with school and work and such.  For those of you who don't know, I got layed off at the beginning of January, with no notice.  But God was totally faithful during the time.  I was out of work for about 6 weeks before I found a fantastic job at Cascade Christian Early Childhood Center, where I am the SuperSub.  It's a full-time position where I sub in various classrooms where I may be needed, and when I'm not doing that, I do stuff like answer phones, make trips to the store, create a bulletin board, etc.  It's really fun, and I love it.  I am finally starting to catch up on my bills.

So, guess who turned 21 this past week???  I DID!!  It's crazy to actually be 21.  Not that it changes much.  I don't drink, but I just like the idea of being 21.  Still young, in your prime, but getting to be more responsible and stuff.  AND, I'm getting my tattoo next week!  I'm very excited, I'm getting it on my foot, and it's going to be a cross with some butterflies.  I'll definitely post pictures after I get it done.

There's a lot of changes coming up, including a few people moving out of the dorms.     Aubs is going off to Venezuala, which is awesome.  Others are moving out, too.  But a new season brings new people, and it's exciting to think about who they might be.  I guess I don't really have too much more to say.  I'm going to try to post more often.  Later.
