Dear Blog, it's me: Matt. It's been forever since we talked, have you lost weight?

Lovely things are happening at Jonestown these days...If you're not in the Lower Haight/San Francisco neighborhood you're forgiven for not realizing that Jonestown is indeed where we live together and plot all things Jonesin'. New songs are brewing! We're learning all sorts of covers! The walls are alive with it. Spring is friggin springin, people. We think our next record is going to be half covers and half Jonesin' originals, we'll see, but the covers are sounding mighty crispy...

It looks as though the kind folks over at SHIT MUSIC FOR SHIT PEOPLE are going to put out "Hi, We're Jonesin'" on tape! They're Italian! Wooo! More info as it comes on that, but Jenny's working on another set of original art for it, and if you've seen her stuff you'll know it's going to be sweet-ass. Dust off those tape decks ppl.



We're gonna go on tour again! Come September 3rd we're going to experiment with rental cars and planes and shit, all the way to NYC, to prove that we're really not as famous as we should be. We're very excited to do this and are high on life as a result.

Also, Jen and I are going to sing in an old timey Soul/R+B night with a bunch of (admittedly way better than us) singers from SF, and that's going to rule. It's going to be May 27th at Amnesia and we're mega excited about THAT too.

And, last but not least, this Friday is going to be awesome...but only if YOU show up. I promise we'll be in costume. ....................
