You do know that when you are doing the work that you are intended to do, there will be naysayers, haters and just plain and simple, miserable people? Don't allow others to take you out of who you are. If I reacted every time someone said a disparaging remark about me, my work or my character, I'd never move. Yes! The House Music Community is exactly that, "a community". And in a community you are going to have those who need not be in the village. So, they decide (because they are not quite in the mix) to create discord and unrest. Let them languish in the negativity that is them, and you, keep it moving. Life is too short, and a career in the music business even shorter. So, with that you don't have time to waste on small minded folks. Do you...and let them run their mouth....and while it's open give them a mint and say have a nice day!

OK, Let's summarize. 1) You ARE an ICON, in the House Community. If one is indeed a "head", they are aware of your contributions to and influences in other artists. 2) Low Self-Esteem exists in our world today. 3) There will be detractors, some who have status... some who may not. Regardless, because they don't have what you have (perceived or not), their only rationized recourse is to tear you down to their level. If someone can be led by their non-sence, they are brain-less little lambs. Your true friends and supporters are right here for you. Please keep this in mind.
