Current mood:  sad
When I was about 15 my brother brought home this little scraggly puppy. My parents said we couldn't keep him so my brother took him for a walk to see if he would go back to where he belonged. He trotted up to a house about 2 blocks away and sat on the porch. My brother left him there and came home.
The next morning when my mother came home from work, that little dog was sitting on our back steps waiting to come in. My mother fell in love with him that very second and they have had him ever since.
Now it is 14 years later and I just had to bury my little friend. I loved the dog very much and so did my family.
My parents have gone away for a week to Maine and I had been taking care of  him. He was getting a little old and he was getting very sick. I stopped at my parents house before I went to work this morning to feed him and  let him out. He was looking very ill and I thought about not going into work so I could watch him. But I went to work and thought about him for most of the day, so I called my parents at lunch to tell them that he was looking sick and that I was going to bring him to the vet. So I left work then and when I got to my parents house he had passed away on the floor. I buried him in my brothers yard.
I will and do miss Buddy alot. I will never forget him.

Corey,

I am very sorry about your loss. That is sad. I love you and think you are a great friend to have and so I know he was a lucky dog to have you. Well keep your head up.

I send you hugs

Love,

Daniel

Aw man,

I'm really sorry to hear that. I couldn't imagine how rough that is. Never having pets growing up never gave me the opportunity to miss them, so I really don't know how I would handle that. Chin up though. He was a good dog, from what I knew of him. He had a good family and was well loved. Take care Corey.
