I'm very excited that the first time in my independent music career, I'm getting a good amount of radio play.
As of right now, I am up to 152 radio stations throughout the United States spinning my new album  "For Love and Desperation. It has been only 5 weeks since my album  has been  released on this national radio campaign .
The stations range from College, Non Commercial and Commercial Radio this is a great accomplishment for me as a Indie artist.
Getting radio play Ive learned is extremely difficult. there are  some major obstacles you must hurdle to get air time. You are competing with major artist with huge promotions budgets. You are also are at the mercy of Program Director at the station. This person decides  if your music is worth the final 3 slots ,that is intended to give new artist a break  . Lastly your music has to stand out to make airplay while your competing with a million other artist vying for that one spot.
My  first album back in 2000 had 2 radio stations playing my music and in 2004 for 2nd release, I had maybe 15 stations playing me  and that was in three countries.
So yes I feel very fortunate so far  :)
I m hoping more station will add me in the upcoming weeks that is my goal.
