To allow for a stable studio existence, maintain the highest level of recorded quality, and create a working environment that will allow for the highest level of recorded quality, the following procedures shall be followed:

STUDIO PROCEDURE:

·  All clients are required to sign a contract for the studio.

·  To ensure proper use and safety of the equipment, no one other than the engineer is allowed to run control room equipment.

·  Smoking, alcohol and drugs of any kind are prohibited anywhere within the studio.

·  All food and drinks are to be kept away from the control room equipment.

·  No children are allowed to be brought to the studio.

·  Central 8 Studios is not responsible for how prerecorded media is obtained. All media is the responsibility of the client that has the media processed or mastered.

BOOKED TIME:

·  Client is responsible for being on time. All sessions start at the time the session was booked. If a client is late, that client is still financially responsible for the time they are scheduled.

·  The scheduled client may use additional studio time provided that both the engineer and the next time block are available.

·  If clients are scheduled back to back, it is necessary that the previous client begin packing adequately in advance to allow the next scheduled participant to begin on time.

·  If a client wishes to have a CD burned, they must also leave time for this. CD's will not be burned after the session is over.

DATA STORAGE:

·  Central 8 Studios is not responsible for any recorded media left on our system or on a hard drive inside the studio. All client data on the studio's drives will be erased at the end of every night.

·  If a client wishes to leave their project on the studio's hard drive, a fee will be charged each month. If the fee is not paid, all data on the hard drive will be erased. Even with the payment of the hard drive fee, the studio is not responsible for any media left on the hard drive. Clients are responsible for making back up copies of their project onto data CD's, DVD's, or their own hard drive.

·  First time clients may purchase a space of up to 2 gigs on the studio's hard drives. This space can be held either for 2 weeks or 1 month. If no data space is purchased from the studio, then all data will be erased at the end of the session. No data can be held for more than 1 month; after that all data will be erased.

PAYMENT:

·  ALL sessions are to be PAID IN FULL at the end of the session, unless other arrangements have been made. Cash and PayPal are accepted. An additional $5 for PayPal transactions will be charged.

·  Regardless of excuse, no one shall leave the premises with a copy of any material recorded by Central 8 Studios without having paid for the session time during which the material was recorded.

·  Any reserved session requires a nonrefundable deposit of $20 for 1-2 hours or $50 for 3+ hours. The amount of the deposit will go towards the balance of the session. If the client cannot make it to the session for any reason, they will forfeit their deposit. Payment is to be made as described above. Session time will not be booked until this payment has been made, and the allotted time may be rescheduled if timely payment is not received. If a client cannot pay a security deposit, they may book inside a two hour period before their session.

·  All rates are subject to change at any time.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

It is the responsibility of the client to read and fully understand these policies before their first scheduled recording.
