A conversation held at my former place of work:
Bar staff: "you're releasing a single?"
Me: "yes."
Bar staff: "whit, into the charts?"
Me: "well, not quite."
Either way, there is some various single based news to report. The CDs are available at the moment at Avalanche Glasgow, and will soon be available at other record stores of that ilk around Scotland.
To celebrate the above, we're doing an in-store at Avalanche tomorrow (28/10) at 5pm. Come along, listen to some songs, buy the single, and make us feel like rockstars (albeit ever so awkward ones) by asking us to sign it.
The itunes mess is in the process of being resolved, and fingers crossed it will be available for you all to download very soon indeed.
Also, slight change of programme for the single launch. Due to a bit of a scheduling error the lineup has totally changed. Randolph's Leap and Gdansk have now been replaced by the fantastic Three Blind Wolves and it promises to be a belter. I understand TBW will be on at 10 followed by us, but get down early as it's going to be busy.
The single has been getting some pretty decent coverage, which we're very thankful for. I should post it all here, but i'm better at facebook, so go over there to see what the story is. In short, Vic Galloway's played it a couple of times, as has Glasgow Podcart and Sunny Govan. Thanks be to all of them. Thanks also for the reviews and other bits of coverage. You'll also be able to hear Dogfight on the Scotland introducing podcast, which should be available on Vic's bbc page from Friday (30/10)
Hope you like all the other tunes we've put up too.
Keep the home fires burning
