Barb and I were married on 12-27-08 at 2pm. It was a beautiful wedding. We thought the weather was going to keep people from making it, because there was a serious amount of ice on the roads the day before the wedding. My son Eric was my best man, and I was really thinking his flight from Idaho wouldn't make it. It was delayed some but he made it. My daughter Michelle and her family had to take a detour from Chicago because of road closings, but they made it too. Barb's son JR and His honey Amanda arrived in time, so everything ended up being wonderful. Amanda was the maid of honor and JR was an usher. My grandson Nicholas was the ring bearer and my little cousin Olivia was the flower girl. They were so sweet, and did their jobs like pro'sOlivia's dad Michael was an Usher, and the pastor at Barb's church (Dave Duvoll) led the ceremony, and signed the papers. Barb's aunt Leanne and her kids prepared all the food and served it at the reception, then they stayed and helped clean up. I'm a lucky guy because I have a wonderful new wife, and a her great family. Barb's aunt Becky made the wedding dress and uncle claude took pictures and shot video. Barb's friend Michael and some others from Express One decorated the reception hall. Lot's of other people pitched in and helped too. Without all these people contributing their talents we would have never pulled this off.
My stomach was a mess, but everything went pretty darn smooth. All in all it was a perfect day ending with my new wife at the Marriot hotel in South Bend. Wow!
Love to everyone
Mike
