DANCEWORDZ, a freelance production duo (H. G. Robert and Wayland Anderson) that writes, choreographs and stages original shows for its own ensemble by fusing poetry, ballet and theatrical acting, will premiere the GLBT themed brand new work, “TABOO” on October 2nd-3rd, 2009 @ 8:00PM, at the CMFA Art Space. "TABOO" offers a current, relevant & fresh take on human rights & personal freedom in regards to love, sex & relationships. The songs and dance take a step behind closed doors to demystify the social stereotypes about gender, orientation & race.

The show's musical score displays a wide selection of styles, ranging from pop & hip-hop to spoken word. The tracks alternate between musical narratives & thought provoking interludes.

The multi-media show will feature dance on film as well as live performances.

TABOO’s catchy beats & DANCEWORDZ's eye-opening take on controversial topics encourages the listener to ask questions about unconventional lifestyles instead of assuming half-baked truths.
