I decided to send any proceeds received for Regina's song to The Bright Eyes Society because they are offering 1000 Euros reward for information leading to the legal arrest of the person or persons responsible for the heinous crime at Ribercan Shelter, where Regina was savagely beaten, sexually abused and killed. I hope with help Bright Eyes can increase the reward money and one day maybe justice will prevail.
Bright Eyes have a lot of experience in animal protection issues and I feel they will use funds wisely to further animal welfare in Spain from a legislative angle, sorely needed! And certainly they are doing their best to expose this crime and encourage compassion towards the voiceless.
My huge thanks to Mary Alice Pollard, Cornwall's Voice For Animals, for creating the banner art for Regina and to everyone who has helped to spread the word about this terrible cruelty. I wish I had time to thank everyone for joining Regina's page but while I'm writing this I just wanted to say your support is vital, fantastic and very much appreciated. Regina will never be forgotten and together I believe we can make a difference.
