2008 was a great year for us.  In July we released our first 5 features and received a great response from the readers.  People from all over the US complimented us on our publication, and I seen it work wonders for our artists.

We incorporated Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and other networking abilities into our magazine, which helped us generate 13k views in 6 months! 

Thanks to Design 312 we managed to get a beautiful new MySpace layout to start off 2009 right.  We removed our Podcasts from our other server and made them available on our magazine thanks to a great new plug in.  We incorporated a Artist/Music news article, and an interactive "Art Views" article that allows the readers to give their idea of what the art is saying.

In October we had Rocktober Fest 2008 which helped raise almost 2700.00 for the American Cancer Society.  We were broadcasted to over 12 states and 5 countries thanks to Party 95 5.  We had an allstar cast of our featured bands like Her Revenge, Holes and Hearts, Still Life, 16 Second Stare, PineHill, Amber Nicol, The Ghost Sound, Judge Dredd, and the legendary Billy Rose.  This made for one awesome rock filled, family fun day.  Which we plan on doing another next year, and one in the spring!

We were blessed to meet so many wonderful artists, musicians, and designers of all fields, some of our features were found right on our MySpace.  Thanks for the great friendships we made through 2008.

In 2009 we are bringing more celebrity news, working on 2 concerts, more events, and we are looking for advertisers to advertise on our site.  There are so many new things coming, so keep watchin.... www.theexpressionist.com
